Tobias Gies

I am a PHP programmer from Germany and I work with Zend Framework since the Summer of 2007. I started coding PHP at the age of 13, back in the old and ugly times of procedural PHP4 and mysql_query('SELECT * FROM table WHERE id = ' . $_GET['id']). Ugh. Glad these times are gone (and glad these "apps" I wrote back then are offline now ).

About my relationship with Zend Framework: I use Zend Framework in my applications and I have developed or am currently developing some interesting components (e.g. my Pts_Db_Table_NestedSet) which might find their way into the proposal process soon. I also have commit rights to the German documentation translation repository, however, I currently use them pretty seldom.
